Kilgore and Henderson are about 17 driving miles apart, making it easy to enjoy the attractions, events, dining, and everyday conveniences of Henderson while staying in the peaceful Piney Woods surroundings of Ruby’s Place.
Henderson offers plenty to experience during your visit, from its historic downtown to local events and outdoor attractions. The city’s tourism department highlights the Heritage Syrup Festival, East Texas Wildflower Trails, farmers markets, rodeos, civic theatre events, and other activities throughout the year.

- From Exit 591 on Interstate 20, take FM 2087 South for approximately 0.07 miles.
- Veer left onto FM 2276 South.
- Continue on FM 2276 S for:
- 1.2 miles to the stop sign at FM 349 – proceed straight.
- 1.4 miles to the stop sign at FM 2204 – proceed straight.
- 3.0 miles to the stop sign at FM 1249 – proceed straight.
- Continue for another 1.5 miles.
You will see the Ruby’s Place RV Park sign on the right-hand side.
